about us. My name is Jean-Charles. I am a graphic designer who loves to
be involved with all things adoption.
About AdoptionLoft.com
The idea for this website came to us a week before
Julia, our third child, was born. My spouse (Joe) and I have amassed
a considerable
amount of information regarding adoption and because of word-of-mouth
referrals we have received e-mails and phone calls from many people
who needed information.
We realized we could design an adoption-oriented website to provide quality
information and also to direct people to reputable, licensed adoption
professionals.
I also wanted to be able to apply my professional skills towards adoption
and offer adoption profiles at reasonable rates. Whether you have hired
an adoption agency or are working directly with an attorney, I am prepared
to help you design your adoption
profile from start to finish.
About Myself
I have extensive experience with print and web. For
the last twenty years I have professionally designed magazines, newspapers,
brochures, websites, the whole enchilada! I enjoy helping people organize
their ideas and convert them into attractive and efficient artwork which
will bring results. I love what I do and I am very enthusiastic about
it. As a matter of fact, there's nothing that makes me happier than to
see my clients happy with my artwork.
Adoption has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. My uncle
was adopted and we grew up together in a small town in Brazil. The more
I learned about adoption, the more I knew that I wanted to be an adoptive
father someday.
About My Family
We are
the proud fathers of three beautiful little girls: Sara, 3 years old,
Liliana, 1 year old and Julia, 7 months old! -- Yes, it is a busy household
around here! Our daughters are the immense blessing in our lives and
we
feel forever grateful to the adoption professionals who helped us form
our family, three threefold!
Our family is complete and we feel compelled to help
others who are just starting with their adoption plans. There are so
many questions, so much to learn... It can be overwhelming at times.
We designed our own adoption profiles
I was fortunate enough to have the skills, the knowledge and the equipment to design our own adoption profiles. We will never know precisely how much influence my work had on the birth mothers who picked us to parent their babies, but the bottom line was: we were chosen!
